    Practice Focus:

Eugenia's practice focuses on long term care and health care providers, including skilled nursing facilities, residential care facilities for the elderly and assisted living facilities. She has successfully represented the owners, operators, management companies and employees of such providers through all stages of litigation, including arbitration and trial, in lawsuits involving claims of elder abuse, fraud, unfair business practices and violation of statutorily imposed duties.

Eugenia also regularly advises owners, operators and managers of such providers on ways to avoid and deal with the wide range of pitfalls and problems that face the industry, including compliance issues with state and federal regulations such as Title 22, OBRA and HIPAA. She works closely with providers to develop policies and risk management strategies that best meet their individual compliance needs.
