His practice includes resolution of mechanics’ liens, contract negotiation and disputes, as well as in-depth work with insurance professionals and claims administrators defending professional liability claims to positive outcomes.
General Business: Counseling of numerous private and corporate clients on contracts, litigation, corporate restructure, and other general business matters.
Construction: Nicholas Wieczorek is a member of the firm’s Construction, Architect/Engineer and Professional Liability Practice Areas. For all of his 27 year legal career, he has devoted substantial attention to handling complex construction and design professional liability cases in all forums. Nicholas Wieczorek’s current caseload is weighted in complex commercial contract litigation, construction risk, episodic losses involving substantial bodily injury, contract analysis, professional “standard of care” analysis, ADA/FHA accessibility, and risk management. Mr. Wieczorek frequently lectures to the construction and design industries and is an active participant in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) national Risk Management Committee.
Government Tort: Mr. Wieczorek serves as the main MPP contact for the Legal Defense Plan sponsored by the National Coalition of Public Safety Officers (NCPSO). In this role, he supervises the coordination of the Legal Defense Plan on a national level.
