    Practice Focus:

    The primary areas of Ms. Mixon's practice are employment, long term care, appellate and general civil liability.

    Ms. Mixon’s employment law practice is primarily devoted to advising and representing employers in employment litigation, including discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful discharge. In addition, Ms. Mixon has successfully briefed and argued before the Court of Appeal in a case involving workplace defamation.

    In long term care, she handles complex elder abuse and professional negligence cases filed against skilled nursing facilities, home health care providers, assisted living facilities, hospice providers and health care professionals.
