PJ Lucca joined Morris Polich & Purdy LLP in May 2008 and is an Associate in the San Diego office where he practices with the Products Liability Practice Group. While his practice focuses primarily on the representation of pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech companies against product liability claims, he also represents clients in various commercial disputes. Prior to joining Morris Polich & Purdy LLP, PJ was a Junior Partner with Cozen O’Connor, PC, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey where he practiced with Cozen O’Connor’s Insurance Litigation department focusing primarily on insurance coverage, arson and insurance fraud investigations, and first party bad faith. After graduating law school, PJ clerked on the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, for the Hon. James M. Havey, P.J.A.D. (Ret.). Thereafter, he practiced locally in Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia. Prior to transitioning his practice to San Diego, PJ embarked on a solo journey around the world during which time he visited 23 countries, including 11 UNESCO World Heritage sites and studied Spanish via home-stay with a Costa Rican family and an intensive immersion language course in Antigua, Guatemala. PJ is an avid outdoorsman and explorer who enjoys all types of sports including surfing, snowboarding, kite-boarding, sailing, fishing, mountain biking, camping, hiking, archery and golf.
