Mr. West has an extensive background in representing clients involved in the ownership and management of commercial properties. By understanding the unique business philosophy of each client, Mr. West has broadened the focus of a client’s litigation defense beyond a case-by-case approach to include services such as hiring/training procedures, risk management protocol, and contracts with multiple third-party vendors to increase the chance of successful tenders of defense and indemnification. This global litigation strategy, aimed at concurrently decreasing both the number of claims as well as the fees associated with such claims, is what sets Mr. West apart from competitors in the field.

Mr. West has utilized his nineteen-year history as a dedicated trial lawyer to represent commercial owners of property in claims encountered over a wide spectrum of conceivable incidents. From dangerous conditions on property, to the potential liability for the criminal actions of third parties, claims of false arrest, lease compliance, and disputes with third-party vendors, Mr. West has counseled and represented the owners and managers of commercial properties with respect to the full spectrum of damage claims, including fraudulent schemes, punitive damages, disgorgement of profits, and the most sensitive of jury issues involving death, loss of sight/hearing/limbs, paralysis, brain injury, and permanent burns/scarring.
